Pendragon Theatre is an ensemble of artists, based in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, dedicated to preserving the vitality and enhancing the quality of professional theatre through year-round performance and educational programs. Celebrating 40 years of operation, Pendragon has presented work ranging from Shakespeare to New Plays. Pendragon employs a small year-round staff and a summer company of professional actors, directors, designers and technicians as well as drawing from their base of year-round regional artists. In addition to the summer season, Pendragon produces an annual touring show, a holiday show, a winter show, and a Young Playwrights Festival in the spring. 


 We are currently seeking the following positions: 





Managing Director

Technical Director

Pendragon is looking for an experienced Production Stage Mangager and a Technical Director for the 2019 Summer Season.

The Production Stage Manager (PSM ) will work under the direct supervision of the Managing Director and Executive Artistic Director; the PSM will head a team of stage managers and be responsible for working with TD and PM to coordinate rehearsals, tech, performances and tours. Typically the PSM calls/rehearses 3 shows, assists on other 2. Also responsible for props and prop maintenance. 
Qualifications:  BFA or Graduate level SM experience – or equivalent. And excellent references. 

The Technical Director will be expected to build sets for all summer shows, orchestrate load in and load out of sets, as well as striking of sets. The TD will attend all tech rehearsals and all tours of summer shows. Any experience with lighting instruments or as a Master Electrician a plus. 

Salary for both positions negotiable, housing provided.
