Managing Director

 

Pendragon Theatre, located in Saranac Lake, NY, seeks a managing director who will work closely with the executive artistic director to ensure the production of professional year-round theatre for Adirondack and North Country communities.  The managing director is responsible for fiscal management of the organization and increasing the presence and visibility of the theatre in the community and region.  The theater seeks a dynamic and hard-working personality to oversee the day to day operations and someone eager to collaborate on a new vision for the theater and implement change.   Responsibilities include fiscal and budgetary management, fundraising, grant writing, asset and human resource management, and public relations. Additional theater skills a plus. Pendragon Theatre is an ensemble of artists, based in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, dedicated to preserving the vitality and enhancing the quality of professional theatre through year-round performance and educational programs. Celebrating close to 40 years of operation, Pendragon has presented work ranging from Shakespeare to New Plays. Pendragon employs a small year-round staff and a summer company of professional actors, directors, designers and technicians as well as drawing from their base of year-round regional artists. In addition to the summer season, Pendragon produces an annual touring show, a holiday show, a winter show, and a Young Playwrights Festival in the spring.
